How does the Free plan work?
25 write-ups a week, the Monday reset, what counts and how Free review differs from paid.
Free gives an Individual account 25 write-ups a week, with no card. You can keep using Free, or choose a paid plan when you need more. An uncapped 14-day individual web trial is also available; if it ends without a paid subscription, you continue on Free.
What counts as a write-up?
- A consult or meeting session uses one write-up when audio capture connects. Further notes or redrafts in that session do not use another.
- A letter or document composition uses one write-up when its generation succeeds. Re-drafting does not count another write-up, but needs an available allowance reservation; at the weekly cap, wait for the Monday reset or choose a paid plan.
- Tasks, dates and billing hints inside a note do not use separate write-ups.
- Creating a session without connecting audio does not use a write-up. A failed letter or document generation releases its reservation.
When does it reset?
Every Monday at midnight in your practice’s time zone. Unused write-ups do not roll over. Note re-drafting within the same session is unlimited.
What is different from paid?
Free gives you a draft after you stop. Its audio is deleted when the first draft arrives, so flags mark lines to re-read and correct; there is no listen-back or live transcript.
Free includes web, iPhone and Android capture, with one personal device signed in at a time. A shared computer approved from your phone is separate. If another device is recording a live consult, it can finish before being signed out. Its PDF exports carry “Drafted with Small Mercy · smallmercy.app”. Paid plans add a live transcript, listen-back before confirmation, desktop and watch capture, multiple personal devices, custom templates and vocabulary, uncapped write-ups and PDF exports without a Small Mercy footer. Compare Free and paid.
Your confirmation still matters
Every clinical output remains a draft until you review and explicitly confirm it. If you cannot settle a flagged clinical detail, do not confirm an unsupported guess. Small Mercy is a documentation aid, not a diagnostic device; required information absent from the source is marked [not stated].
